His full sister, Docs Marmoset, was the 1973 NCHA Futurity champion and the 1974 NCHA Derby champion. Docs Oak was inducted into the NCHA Hall of Fame. Doc’s Oak is also the sire of 2 individual horses who placed in the Canning Downs campdraft. Doc’s Spinifex’s other grand sire was Docs Lynx. He came 5th in the 1972 NCHA futurity and then won the 1973 NCHA Derby. He went on to sire a NCHA World Champion cutting horse and was also inducted into the NCHA Hall of Fame. Docs Lynx is the grandsire of 2 individual who placed in the elite campdrafts including All Hours Roy boy, the winner of 2019 Canning Downs.
Winsome Wagon was by Wagon Cook, an imported noted Australian cutting horse. He was by the two times World Champion Cutting Horse Mr San Peppy. His dam was the 1969 NCHA Futurity Champion. Wagon Cook was the sire of Petite Perfection who place 8th in the 2005 Acton Super Beef campdraft at Paradise Lagoons. He is also grandsire to Prada Miss who placed 10th in the 2015 Acton Super Beef campdraft.
Winsome Wagon’s Dam, Colony Music Bar, is the grandam of Yulgilbah Winon Playgirl who placed 4th 2019 Gold Cup. Colony Music Bar’s sire was Pars Music Bar, a California Reining Champion who was a full brother to Zan Par Bar, a AQHA World Champion. Pars Music Bar was the Grandsire of Rosebrook Piper who came 3rd in the 2001 Gold Cup; Pars Music Bar is the Great Grandsire of Bidavale BP (Peter Boulton’s Sampson) who placed 4th 2004 Canning Downs and 4th 2005 Canning Downs.
