“Bill’s” progeny have won multiple Open Campdrafts including “Kid N Glo” the winner of 2019 Graeme Acton Memorial Draft at Paradise Lagoons; and Braeview Riley the SCA 2015 All Round Campdraft Horse of the Year and SCA 2015 Runner Up Open Horse of the Year. They are also successful in the futurity, challenge and show arenas to State, National and Royal level. Progeny have proven to be good minded, sensible, athletic and trainable.

Performance Summary

“Bill” is an Open draft winner; Multiple Open Challenge winner, Reserve Champion 2000 National Reining Futurity. Multiple winner of ASH and western classes, reining champion working horse, and two-handed cutting place getter. Amazingly, he successfully performed for at least 8 different riders with completely different riding styles in all these different disciplines.

“Bill’s” sire, Docs Spinifex, has created an incredible influence on the sport of campdrafting. Although he never competed in campdrafting himself, he has sired 10 individual horses that have won or placed in the elite campdrafts of Australia, including 2 individual Warwick Gold Cup winners and 1 Chinchilla Grandfather Clock winner. He is the grandsire of a further 81 individual horses who have won or placed in the elite campdrafts, including 1 Warwick Gold Cup winner; 3 Canning Downs winners and 2 Chinchilla Clock winner.

Doc’s Spinifex’s sire, Docs Oak, was a finalist in the USA 1976 NCHA cutting futurity and the California Reined Cow Horse futurity. He is the only horse to have ever placed in both events. His full sister, Docs Marmoset, was the 1973 NCHA Futurity champion and the 1974 NCHA Derby champion. Docs Oak was inducted into the NCHA Hall of Fame. Doc’s Oak is also the sire of 2 individual horses who placed in the Canning Downs campdraft. He is the grandsire of 32 individual winners and placegetters in the elite campdrafts of Australia, including 3 individual Warwick Gold Cup winners; 2 Canning Downs winners and 3 Chinchilla Grandfather Clock winners.

Doc’s Spinifex’s other grand sire was Docs Lynx. He came 5^th in the 1972 NCHA futurity and then won the 1973 NCHA Derby. He went on to sire a NCHA World Champion cutting horse and was also inducted into the NCHA Hall of Fame. Docs Lynx is the grandsire of 2 individual who placed in the elite campdrafts including All Hours Roy boy, the winner of 2019 Canning Downs.

Winsome Wagon was by Wagon Cook, an imported noted Australian cutting horse. He was by the two times World Champion Cutting Horse Mr San Peppy. His dam was the 1969 NCHA Futurity Champion. Wagon Cook was the sire of Petite Perfection who place 8^th in the 2005 Acton Super Beef campdraft at Paradise Lagoons. He is also grandsire to Prada Miss who placed 10^th in the 2015 Acton Super Beef campdraft.

Winsome Wagon’s Dam, Colony Music Bar, is the grandam of Yulgilbah Winon Playgirl who placed 4^th 2019 Gold Cup. Colony Music Bar’s sire was Pars Music Bar, a California Reining Champion who was a full brother to Zan Par Bar, a AQHA World Champion. Pars Music Bar was the Grandsire of Rosebrook Piper who came 3^rd in the 2001 Gold Cup; Pars Music Bar is the Great Grandsire of Bidavale BP (Peter Boulton’s Sampson) who placed 4^th 2004 Canning Downs and 4^th 2005 Canning Downs.
